The Precious Present of Lent
What do you feel is necessary for life? Meaning, what do you feel is truly essential, critical in living the best version of ourselves. That’s the question each of us has a chance to ask as we start our Lenten journey to the cross. If Lent is a time of reflection and self-renewal, will we take the time to truly examine our priorities. Will we slow down enough to take a step back, regroup and look with fresh eyes to the value as essentials?!
During the next four weeks our parish are offering a variety of opportunities to help look through fresh eyes and renewing our relationship with God. How? By taking small moments to seek His presence and allow Him to shape our lives. In order to do that we need to choose to step away from our busyness and just ‘BE present. How present will you choose to be this Lenten season.
